Meet the People Behind GBEC

All of our BCC/GBEC ophthalmologists are Board Certified. This Board Certification assures you that our physicians have had extensive education and practical experience in the most advanced eye care diagnosis, procedures, and treatment. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who have spent years in medical and surgical training and have chosen to specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases of the eye.

Within ophthalmology, there are Fellowship-trained subspecialties. Many of BCC/GBEC's ophthalmologists have subspecialty Fellowship training, including glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, oculoplastics, retina, and vitreous, as well as cornea and external disease. With our expertise in a wide range of specialties, BCC/GBEC is able to take care of all your eye care needs.

We also have two Board-Certified ophthalmologists who are knowledgeable in a wide variety of refractive surgery options.

One of our Board-Certified ophthalmologists is also involved in our cosmetic practice, Advanced Cosmetic Solutions.

Our optometric services offer comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens fittings.

Our staff strives to put the patient first. Through registration/check-in, exam work-up and the check-out process, our kind and caring staff will do their best to make your experience at BCC/GBEC a pleasant one. Our hostesses will help make sure you get to the right area for your appointment. In fact, they'll even offer you coffee or lemonade. If your treatment involves surgery, our experienced surgery scheduling staff will strive to answer your questions and allay any fears you may have.

Our office is open 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, but we do have evening hours until 8PM on Thursday for patients who can't make it during regular business hours.

Once your exam is completed, our full-service facility also features a fashionable and price competitive optical boutique, as well as a progressive and accommodative contact lens department.
